Welcome to feenotes celebrating over 16 years (I can’t believe it’s been going this long) and still a work in progress as quite a few things have changed and I’m adding and editing all the time. It has grown so much since I started in 2007 and will continue to do so with new entries appearing regularly.
This site is my ongoing labour of love where I am putting as much music as I can from my own collections as well as what I can from collections of every genre from all over the world. I have had help in the past by some wonderful contributors that include a few of the artists, Jody who helped with the old adverts and Doug who helped provide some of the music that’s been used so far as well as researching and writing some of the old entries. There is also my long-suffering administrator Thomas who tries to keep things on the right track for me here – thank you Thomas..
This isn’t ever going to be finished and the songs and pieces of music will be varied additions and not full discographies of anyone.
One of the aims is to be informative as we all think we know who composed a song or performed on it, but do we really? I have come up against many surprises and it is always interesting to learn more.
Aside from all the headlining artists, I want to take this opportunity to thank all the session and orchestral musicians and backing singers who really are the unsung heroes of some of the greatest music that has ever graced us throughout history. If I can at least give them that little bit of recognition they so rightly deserve, then all the better.
Please bear with me as I will be putting more information in all the time so have a look and see if there’s anything that interests you.
I am always aware of copyrights and have quoted my sources, as much as I can for each entry, saying where I got the valuable information that has enabled me to build this site.

Thank you for coming to look at Feenotes. Your interest is much appreciated. It takes a lot of time and a lot of research as well as some costs to keep it running and any contribution you wish to make, no matter how small, would be very gratefully received and assist in keeping the site going.
