Coleman, Larry

He was a songwriter who wrote many hits alone and in collaboration with other songwriters such as Norman Gimbel, Joe Darion, Paul Klein and Fred Ebb.

His main bulk of work appeared in the 1950s and 1960s and he saw many hits such as “Tennessee Wig Walk” recorded by Bonny Lou,  “Just As Much As Ever”, “Ricochet Romance” recorded by Teresa Brewer, Joan Regan and Alma Cogan, “Good and Lonesome” recorded by Kay Starr, “James Dean” by Jimmy Walker & George Cates and His Orchestra and appearing in the movie Ricochet Romance, and “Changing Partners” which has been recorded by at least twenty one artists that include Bing Crosby, Patti Page, Frank “Pee Wee” King and Dinah Shore.
